    President
    Kelly Dobson


    Kelly was installed as the 15th President of the Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters on October 1, 2023. Prior to becoming the  President, Kelly held the position of 1st Vice President. He has been on the Executive Board of the Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters(JAFF) since 2000, representing the members on multiple occasions in contract negotiations as well as the downtown district representative. He tested through the ranks and became a District Chief, before becoming President of the Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters,

    Kelly's education includes a B.A. in Political Science/Public Administration from UNF, as well as multiple A.S. degrees in Fire Science and EMS from FSCJ.  He is also a State of Florida licensed Paramedic and HAZMAT technician. In addition, Kelly also serves as a member of the Florida Army National Guard.

    An avid golfer, college football fan, and self-admitted political junkie, Kelly was born and raised in Macclenny, Fl. He and his wife Leslie live in St. Augustine with their daughter and son.

    Chuck Baldwin became Secretary-Treasurer on January 1, 2019, and is serving in his second term.

    Larry Osborne is retired as the IAFF 12th District Vice-President and represented 30,000 professional fire fighters in The Carolinas, Georgia, and Florida.  His office is located at the Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters Complex.

    Larry served as President of the Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters from 1990-1998.  He also was a trustee for the Florida Professiona Fire Fighters.  He is now holds Emeritus stats for both positions.




    Second Vice President
    Jamie Johnson


          Jamie Johnson, Second Vice President for Local 122.  Jamie is a career-long member of Local 122 and currently serves as the Assistant Secretary for JPOFFHIT. Among his accomplishments, Jamie has completed extensive training for the Florida Region 3 All Hazards Incident Management Team and attained the rank of Lieutenant within the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.  
         Jamie is happily married and the proud father of two beautiful girls. Family is a priority in his life, and traveling and spending time with his family is how he prefers to spend his limited free time. His care of family and friends carries over into how he cares for, and represents, the members of the local 122.
     Professionally, he is a state certified Florida Fire Instructor, Hazardous Materials Technician, and is a member of the JFRD Urban Search and Rescue Team. His qualifications also include several certifications in Emergency Managment Planning and Operations. After coming on the job as a probationary firefighter at Engine 7, Jamie went to become a firefighter for the newly started Squad 37 in 2014, where he continued to serve as Engineer. He was promoted to Lieutenant in June on 2018. He currently serves as Captain on Rescue 52. Jamie continues to serve the citizens and Firefighters of Jacksonville.

    Robin Gainey is a product of Jacksonville's Safe Haven program. He was raised on the department since birth. He is known affectionately as JFRD's SON. Out of sheer obligation, the department has always given him the Fire Fighter of the Year Award. In his 50th term as Sergeant-At-Arms of the Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters, people often wonder, will he go away. When questioned about retirement, he often states, "There's still a lot of meat on the bone". 

    He is a 34-year veteran of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, currently serving as Battalion Chief Fire 4-A, located at Station 4. Prior to that, Robin was the Captain of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department's Special Operations Team. He is certified in Hazardous Materials Emergency Response, Urban Search and Rescue, Swift Water Rescue, and Wildland Fire Fighting.  He is a state-certified fire service instructor and incident safety officer.

    After 9/11, Robin also further educated himself with the five-part Command and Control Series from the National Fire Academy.  He also has certificates in nerve and biological warfare, advanced chemical and biological response, terrorist and suicide bombing incidents, and radiation and WMD technical emergency response.

    Fire Fighter Safety is also important to Robin, as he serves on the N.F.P.A. committee charged with improving the design of the airpacks fire fighters use when they enter fires.

    Robin is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and has lived here his entire life. He is married and has three adult children.

    In addition to being the Sergeant-At-Arms, Robin also chairs the Local 122 building committee and is responsible for the renovations of the offices, fire station, and tower located on the Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters complex.  




    Chaplain
    Percy Golden


    Bishop Percy J Golden has been the Chaplain of Local 122 since 2007 and served as the department's full-time Chaplain until his retirement.  Percy retired in 2017 after serving 26 years with the JFRD.  In 2019, Percy was again asked by the JFRD administration to serve as the department's Chaplain and as the Critical Incident Officer.  Bishop Golden is certified in the following disciplines for Critical Incident Stress Management responses.

    Bishop Golden holds a Doctorate in Divinity and is the current Bishop and Pastor of The Holy Church of the Living God Revival Center. 

    He is married and has three adult children, one daughter, and two sons. Both of his sons serve the citizens of Jacksonville as Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Dept Firefighters.

    Chip was hired by the JFRD in 1991 and assigned to the downtown company of Ladder 2.  Promoted to Engineer in 1993 and served on E42, E1, E32, and E2.  He was then promoted to Lieutenant in 2002 and worked at one of the busiest companies in Jacksonville at Engine 28.  He currently serves at L44 in the Baymeadows area.  He achieved numerous commendations and is one of the most decorated active Firefighters with the JFRD.  Lt. George was named the Jacksonville Firefighter of the Year in 2007.  Chip was elected to the Executive Board as the District 4 Representative in 2019.

    Jim has been the Secretary/Treasurer of Local 122 since January of 1989.  In that time span, he has taken Local 122 from severe financial difficulties to having a value of over $1 million.

    Prior to his tenure as Secretary/Treasurer, Jim served one year as the Sergeant-At-Arms and 10 years on the Jackonville Police and Fire Pension Fund's Pension Advisory Committee.  Jim possesses a Bachelors degree in Business from Jacksonville University.

      Jim was a 33 year member of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Departmtent, having retired n 2007 as a Captain.  He is a founding member of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Hazardous Materials Team, the first hazardous materials team of its kind in the fire service.  Jim also served as a Lieutenant at the old Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Training School, which now serves as the Local 122 offices.

    Jim is also an avid golfer and represents the Jacksonville Fire Fighters at many charity events.  He and his wife Cheryl have two children and 1 grandchild.




    Vice-President Emeritus
    Mark Treglio

    Mark Treglio took office as the 1st Vice-President of the Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters in January of 2013 after serving three years as the 2nd Vice-President.  He is an active member of the local and is a Lieutenant assigned to the Rescue Division.

    In 2002, Mark created the Local 122 Public Relations Department and has been its PR Director ever since.  In this time span, the local has been successful on both the political and charity fronts, winning many elections for public safety friendly candidates and raising over $1 million for Jacksonville area charities.  Mark also oversees the local's technological efforts with websites, social media, and the Local 122 E-mail digital newsletter.

    Mark is also the Director of Communications for the Florida Professional Firefighters and works for both the state and International Association of Fire Fighters, assisting fire fighters from other locals form public relations campaigns to aid in their fights against cuts to public safety and to help fire fighter friendly candidates attain public office.

    Mark is married with three children.  He is a history buff, political junkie and an even bigger New York Yankees fan.

    Important Update:  Mark Treglio has now been named as the Director of Strategic Campaigns and Public Relations for the IAFF in Washington D.C.

    Mark will now be assigned to the Washington D.C. office and continue his work for the IAFF General President.  Mark will sorely be missed and he has been named the Vice President Emeritus of Local 122.  We wish Mark the best and look forward to his successes in Washington D.C.
