
Jacksonville Fire Fighters Assist With Generator Giveaway
Join the Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters, along with Miller Electric, as they help raise money for Jacksonville Families by giving away a 20kw home installed generator to coincide with the upcoming hurricane season. This is a 20kw generator with a 20 amp service. This is a $12,000 value (unit & installation). Miller Electric will handle installation of the generator.
ALL money from ticket sales will come to Empowered Parents. The drawing will be held Labor Day weekend.

Cuts Continue as Fire Fighters Release Public Opinion Poll
Public Opinion Poll Summary Full 58-page Report
In light of the recent attempts to reduce the level of fire protection, The Jacksonville Fire Fighters have conducted a public opinion poll on the job done by fire fghters, their pay, pensions, and city government.
The poll was conducted by American Public Dialogue, a long time local pollster whose polls are used by all local political strategists and media. Click on the links above for the results.
FIRE FIGHTERS PROUDLY SUPPORT LOCAL MILITARY
Join the Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters as they show their support at the annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Veterans Wall in downtown Jacksonville.
After the ceremony was cut from the city budget, The Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters Local 122 proudly donated $5,000 to assure the city would be able to continue its support of the military community.
The ceremony is Monday, May 31st, at 10am.

Fire Fighters Tops in the Southeast
The Jacksonville Association of Fire Fighters are proud to announce that after raising over $150,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, they have become the highest collecting fire fighter organization in the IAFF's 12th District, which encompasses Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Overall, IAFF Fire Fighters nationwide raised over $23 Million for Jerry's Kids.
